Our enthusiastic and experienced team of dentists, hygienists and nurses regularly undergo numerous courses to further their professional development.
We’re here to help you keep your teeth for as long as possible and we are more than happy to answer any treatment-related questions you may have, or assist you with any specific concerns.
Dr Abbas Visanji BDS(Lond), MSc(Manc)
Dentist/Practice Owner
GDC Number: 194792Graduated in 2010 From St Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital, Abbas then went on to gain a master’s degree from the University of Manchester in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. Here he further developed his skills and knowledge, in crowns and veneers, teeth whitening, and full mouth smile makeovers.
He has keen interest and expertise in orthodontics as well as all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. Abbas has undertaken many cases using the discreet Quick Straight Teeth (QST) system, which involves complex tooth movement using ceramic brackets and white wires. Abbas’s ethos is to improve the appearance and function of teeth whilst preserving tooth tissue in a caring and relaxed manner.
Dr Ashka Patel BDS(Lond), PGCert
Dentist/Practice Owner
GDC Number: 251501Ashka graduated from Guys and St Thomas Hospital, London in 2014. She is an experienced dentist, having worked in private practice, carrying out a wide range of dental treatments to suit every individual need of patients. Through in-depth conversation with patients, she then provides tailored treatment plans to meet these requirements.
Ashka is highly skilled in all aspects of dentistry, especially restorative and Endodontic treatments. With a keen interest in always furthering her knowledge and ability, after graduating she gained a PGCert in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, further improving her quality of cosmetic treatment.
In addition, she provides various orthodontic treatments to straighten teeth, including Invisalign and Inman aligner systems.
Ashka is also qualified and highly experienced with providing facial aesthetic treatment, including Botox, fillers and other methods of facial rejuvenation to achieve an effective and natural result.
Dr Jason Wong

GDC Number: 194130Jason, born in Poole, Dorset qualified as a dental surgeon from Barts & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010.
As part of his continued professional development he worked in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department (Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust) which enhanced his skills and interests in oral surgery.
He is extremely experienced with placing dental implants and uses a very safe and guided technique for predictability.
Jason has a very caring approach when treating patients, making them feel at ease whilst undergoing procedures.
In his free time he enjoys snow sports holidays and travelling.
Dr Jaume Escoda-Francoli
Specialist Implantologist, Oral Surgeon and Periodontist
GDC Number: 256969Jaume (James) studied Dentistry at university in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) and is our on-site oral surgeon, implantologist and perioodontist as of June 2022. He is an experienced and caring qualified dentist, specialising in Oral Surgery. He has a Special Interest in Implant Dentistry and Periodontics.
James has been working as a dentist since 2004, and as a specialist since 2007. He is passionate about his work and is pro-active at keeping up to date with the latest techniques and procedures.
James has a keen interest in travelling, giving him the perfect excuse to attend to many Congresses of his specialty around the world.
Prior to coming to England, James was an Associate Professor in the University of Barcelona. He obtained a “Cum Laude” mark by completing his Doctoral Degree (Dissertation). His dissertation focuses on a synthetic biomaterial that could be a substitute for autogenous bone grafting.
He started working in the UK in 2016 and since then has completed several courses, including intravenous sedation.
James thoroughly enjoys working as a team to create a treatment plan that provides patients with the most beneficial and highest standard of care possible.
Dr Maslinda Mohamad
Dentist BDS, MClinDent(Endodontology), PGCert in Dental Sedation and Pain Management UCL 2015
GDC Number: 76873Dr. Mohamad qualified in dentistry from the National University of Singapore in 1997.
Prior to her arrival in Britain, she worked within the departments of Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery of The National Dental Centre in Singapore.
In 2001, she was awarded the degree of Master of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontolgy) from Guy’s, Kings and St. Thomas’ Dental Institute in London. Following this, she limited her clinical practice to endodontics.
In 2015, she completed a PG Cert in Dental Sedation and Pain Management at the University College, London.
Dr. Mohamad joined Magnolia House in October 2022
Dr Mohamad is an active member of the British Endodontic Society and the Langham Endodontic Study Club.
In her spare time she enjoys baking, tending to her chickens and keeping fit with long distance running and marathons.
Dr Lin Yu
Dentist
GDC Number: 301955Lin graduated as a dentist from Bristol University in September 2022. Lin is particularly good with treating elderly patients and young children. She has an interest in endodontic treatments and also cosmetic dentistry. She works well as part of a team and has good communications skills. In her spare time, Lin likes shopping and cooking.
Dr Tara Hazra

GDC Number: 302725Tara graduated from the University of Valencia. She is particularly interested in aesthetic cases such as composite bonding. Tara has strong qualities in all aspects of general dentistry coupled with a relaxed and gentle manner.
In her spare time she loves to socialise with friends and further develop her dental knowledge.

GDC Number: 258437Georgie graduated from the University of Portsmouth. She undertakes all aspects of hygiene and therapy, including cleaning, fillings and children’s extractions to name a few.
She has a calm and relaxed manner with excellent technical skills.
Patrycja Pastusiak

GDC Number: 304468Patrycja has been with us for one year but has excelled in that time. She has excellent nursing and organisational skills. Patrycja is an excellent team player showing good initiatives.
Patrycja is also the specialist nurse for Implants and Endodontics.
Outside of work she enjoys seeing friends and walking her dog.

Beth has been with Magnola House since July 2022. She’s an excellent nurse and enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially Invisalign and facial aesthetics.
Outside of the practice Beth enjoys playing Badminton.
Roshni Barrass

Roshni graduated from the University of Portsmouth. She has a great work ethic and is a team player. She enjoys Implant therapy, as well as Invisalign treatments.
Outside of work Roshni is an avid surfer.

Sonia has been an excellent addition to Magnolia House. She brings a wealth of experience, whilst maintaining a gentle and friendly manner. Sonia is proficient with dental computer systems and Denplan and does her best to make sure that patients have a great experience with us!
She loves Star Wars and Bingo on Saturday’s.
